Ryan win Charter Standard award
Ryan FC were asked to attend The London FA 7th Annual Awards Evening last Thursday which was held at West Ham United ground.

There were eleven awards overall and Ryan FC were awarded 'The FA Charter Standard Club Award' which is a massive achievement for the club.

Richard Williams who is Club Founder and Secretary of the Club said this justifies all the hard work me and my management have put in over the last few years getting all our paper work and qualifications up to date.

We have currently run a in service Coaches evening for managers and coaches from other clubs, plus held Level 1 courses and mentor young coaches and referees.

Since the club started nearly 18 years ago we have gone from strength to strength on the field as well and had Two signed Pro Players, Six Scholars, over Forty Signed players for Academies, numerous County and District players and have Won Three County Cups and play in most Top leagues.

We also Run Soccer Schools and Soccer Camps for all ages and standards.

Our Girls section which has grown under the leadership of Athena Yennaris is also doing really well with over Twenty Five girls playing in the Essex Girls League.

Our next step is to sit down with London FA and go for the Charter Community Award plus maybe work closer with Schools in the area and Waltham Forest Council regarding our own ground.
