Ryan FC under 16s beat Barking 3-1 (in extra
time) at the Mile End Stadium to win this seasons County Cup.
Goals from Jayden Vernette and two goals from
managers son George Sharpe retained the Cup Ryan won last season.
Manager Duncan Sharpe who has been with the club
nearly ten years now, said It still has not sunk in yet. but really proud of the
boys who have improved as a team as the season has gone on.
There was a minutes silence before the game for
Mark Huggins (The London Cake Company) who sadly passed away just after
Christmas. His son Chris has been at Ryan FC since he was five and his dad was
always a keen fan and sponsored the team.
